Founder Profile
Kingsman Advisory was founded in 2017 to bring the rigour of a top-tier firm to the personal service that owner-managed businesses and private clients deserve. I qualified as a chartered accountant with a Big 4 firm, first-time passes in every exam, ranked in the top five of my national intake in two of the finals, after a First in Economics from the London School of Economics.
I then spent eleven years running finance functions rather than auditing them: Head of Finance of a fast-growing luxury retailer, then nine years as CFO of a VC-backed international scale-up selling into more than 20 countries. Along the way I raised millions in funding from VCs, angels, crowdfunding, institutions, and grants, led expansion into North America and Europe, secured R&D tax credits year after year, and resolved HMRC enquiries and creditor negotiations to clean conclusions, experience I now put to work for clients on everything from statutory accounts to restructuring, tax-efficient exits and board-level forecasting.
Every client relationship is managed directly by me, so the advice you receive is consistent, commercial and grounded in first-hand experience. The client list is deliberately capped to keep it that way.

For eight years alongside my executive career, I served as the elected General Secretary of one of the UK's largest community charities, responsible for the stewardship of £50m of assets, £5m of annual income and a team of 35. I professionalised its finance function, led wide-ranging governance reform and oversaw a major capital investment programme; during my tenure the organisation received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, the highest honour given to voluntary organisations in the UK.
